I used to occasionally zone out and try to upshift into R. That's when I knew it was time to get a 6 speed. -Noel
:lol: :lol: You too, huh? I thought I was the only one that did that. Actually, I have not gone into reverse yet, but I have pushed the clutch in preparing to shift before realizing that I was already in high gear :bb :lol: :lol:
Yeah. My Doug Nash (later to be Richmond) 5 speed wouldn't actually let me get it into R. It would just grind. Woke me up and made me feel a bit stupid.
Good thing the difference between my speed and the others around me is usually a large percentage of the speed of sound, or they might have heard me do this, causing further embarrassment. :D
