Default Carb flooding. ????

My Holley ,3310-4 750 cfm, was flooding out a lot. I rebuilt it last weekend and found the needle was not seating right due to a few bits of gasket residue.
I cleaned it very well and re assembled it. Put it back on the car and adjusted it to spec. It did fine for one day and when I went out to start it yesterday it flooded.
Any ideas of what is wrong or what I may have done wrong.
I have rebuilt carbs many times and have not see this before.

BLT-71,
If you had dirt in your needle and seat, which will deffinetly cause Holleys to flood, you need to go thru the routine again. Dirt is getting into your system and you need to find it and stop it. It will continuely drive you carzy if you dont find the sourse.

Take a 5/8th wrench , remove the needle and seat, blow it out with your mouth and reinstall. I have experienced problems when working on the carb with dirt or whatever getting into the seat. If you ever work on the fuel lines make sure you have a good filter in line close to the carb.
