Not to sure about an '82. Do you have a trim plate on the driver's A piller? That is the where one can find the build date for many earler sharks.

The build date is on the trim plate on the drivers door piller near the hinges. The date is coded as
A = Aug.
B = Sep.
C = Oct.
and so on until July.
After the letter are 2 numbers. Those are the day of the month that the car was built.
As an example, E23 would be 23 Dec. 1981.

I believe that if you go the the National Corvette Museum, you can look up the build sheet on yours (as it was built there in Bloomington) and it might show the build date. I have no such luck on mine, closest I have is a rough estimate.

The trim plate gives the body build date as 1979toy stated above. The car assembly day is one to two day later. Here is a web page where you can enter your VIN and it will give you the "birthday":
