In 1979 there were only around 370 corvette L-82's produced with optional close ratio M-22 manual transmission.
uhhhhhhh ... Correct me if I'm wrong but the factory never put a m-22 in a 79 .... did they??? They must have - I just saw it on ebay!!!
but my favorite line is
...it just needs a shortblock.

Interesting. In 1979 8,291 M20s were installed and 4,062 M21 close-ratio on L-82 only. Last year for M22 seems to be 1972.

I am suprised he didn't mention the ulta-rare factory 1979 chrome sidepipes and the even rarer yet factory shaker hood scoop! I think there was only .5 of those ever produced. :D :smash:

Well, I think he's attempting to be honest, I mean "one of 370???" I would've though with that 600hp L-82 it'd be much rarer than that!!!:yesnod: I'm suprised he's not claiming "one of one" built by GM. The car behind it with the wing I remember seeing in "The Farts and the Curious", oops, er, I mean the "Fats and the Ferocious" :confused:

i just find it curious as to why he states that it is an l-82......cuz from the looks of it i would definately have to assume that even if the l-82 is still in there its been modded so much that it no longer qualifies as a l-82 and in that case wheres the value in that claim...??? :rolleyes:
