Butane soldering iron. No extension cord to get tangled up with in confined spaces.

Cheap 4 in 1 screwdriver in the kitchen junk drawer. It has saved miles worth of trips to the garage to get a screwdriver to tighten some house thing.

Torque Wrench.

Never had one before the Corvette, and I've got the broken bolt heads to prove it!

i would say the ball-end hex keys should get the 'Tool-of-the-Year Award'

Do pliers not fall into the category of tools? ;)

Actually,..the best tool should be the die grinder :D

Air die grinder. port heads, shape panels, cut holes, enlarge holes, just a whole lot of things that can be done with one of those buggers.

The FORUM - you guys have helped me a lot from time-to-time.

My dream tool: someone needs to invent an "undo" button for my tool box.

If I'm to narrow it down to one, it has to be my Snap-on 'cotter-pin' rmvl tool. I've found use for it on everything except cotterpins! (heck, for those I use side cutters) It'll pop off clips, tuck weatherstripping, align fasteners in holes, scribe, and even blow off beer caps!

It is actually the newest addition to my "tool arsenal". My Dremel MultiPro Super Kit. I should have had this thing years ago!!

For me, it has to be the one tool in my tool box that I have only used twice. I "never" need it...but when I do...I REALLY need it. Thats my impact screw driver. Like I said...used it twice. Both time on the steering column on a 77 vette. First about 5 years ago on my first vette, and second about 3 weeks ago on my current vette. For those time when you just cant get the torque on a regular screw driver...just set in place....give it a whap or two...and the screw is loose.
