Ouch - oye - bummer - eek! :boxing
If it makes you feel any better (it won't), on my project car I just finally got on the road I found out yesterday that the rear coil springs have to come back out because I cut them too short (coild and a half) and the bodies sitting too low. Bummer number one (about $65 so ok I can live with that). But, the Torq Thrust II's that I bought over a year ago for the car have the wrong backspace. They are 3 3/4" and because of the axles and disc brake combo I'm using I'm gonna need a 5" backspace. I had to order them special today for over $400. Big bummer... :mad :mad
So if anyone needs a brand new set of 15x7 TTII's, with 3 3/4" backspace and GM 4 3/4" lug pattern we can work it out.
I try to measure two or three times before cutting or buying something but yet it's always as if I bought/cut twice and measured once.

If you will take some aluminum wheel cleaner for the oncoated whells and spray it on the aluminum, then very quickly spray it off, ot might take some of the dark spots away. I use it on the plenum and runners on my 91.

Try some "Nevr Dull" aluminum wadding from Walmart. It got just about all of the dried coolant from my aluminum valve covers and all of the stains from my TTII's. It took a lot of rubbing, but I got most of the stains out! Happened when my upper radiator hose blew off the goose neck while driving.
