How do you reduce fuel pressure going to a Holley 4010
I may have a problem with too much pressure going to my carb. I want to reduce the pressure. I am going to see if I can find a new pressure gauge now so I know where I am at. the one I have on the car is too jumpy I can`t get a good reading. Sorry Model 4010.
Thanks
Bob

A filter will reduce some pressure. Expect about 1 pound of pressure loss for a good filter, less for a poor qualitity one. Beyond that I think that you are going to need a regulator. Look for one with a return line.

I use the Holley #803? or is it #804?. It's about $19 in the Summit catalog. One exit port goes to the carb, the other exit port goes to the return line.
