Default Differential noise

Hi all
When I drive my 78, with th350/3.08, if I decelerate, I hear noise in differential like a rubbing, a " bearing noise". The noise is most important when the engine rmp fit the vehicle speed, when I acelerate the noise desappear.
Somebody can tell me what is the problem ?
Is it difficult to rebuild the differential ?
Thank you very much for your advice

Are you sure it's not the partking brake rubbing? Either way, change the fluid in the diff and make sure you use the posi additive.

French78,
I am not sure about your problem, but the rebuild on the differential is not too bad if all you are doing is putting new bearings and seals in it. You will need access to a good bearing puller and a press.

I dont think is a parking brake rubbing because I hear this noise only when I decelerate, but I'm gonna operate the parking brake when I drive, and listen if the noise change.
I have change tow time oil and posi fluid but nothing change.
Thank you :seeya
