All I can say is WOW . That's a heck of an engine you have there! :) Those twin turbos look VERY intimidating! Looking good.

Ummmm, couldn't you gotten one a little shorter. Or is this a "man" thing... Just kiddin Twinnie. You should be able to look in a K&N cat. In one section they have all the measurements of the cone filters they offer, should have similar filters just ummmm... Smaller... yeah - that's it..
If ya don't have access to a K&N cat.. I should have access to one to help ya out. Nice set up..

Nah, I think I'll keep these. Maybe I'll have to angle them somewhat but I was thinking about moving my radiator. I have to fit a 31x16x4,5" rad so I'll have to move stuff anyway.
Oh and I have their main WorldWide catalog. I just looked up the largest filters w/ a 3" outlet and these are them! :D

Kool indeed...I guess you could run tubes and put them in the front grilles by the front parking lights...or just stick out of the front of the hood!

Re: Got the filters for my TT today.... (StingrayRacing)
How abaout some specs on the motor. There was a 69' TT Vette at the Corvette show two years ago that could make from 650-900HP. So, you should probably get 900HP ATLEATS man. Come on. Who want's 700HP??
It's VERY VERY sweet!

I'm not sure how many ponies it puts out. What you see is a mockup assembl, I don't even have all the parts for it yet (splayed caps, block rock, H beam rods & blower pistons etc have not arrived)
I'm gonna run it mildly at first, don't want stuff to break. I'll gradially increast boost.
Aaron, Ken showed me that pic about 2 years ago. It was a TT TPI setup. Looked kind of messy but it was still very cool!
The specs will be:
2 bolt 350 .30 over. Milodon Splayed caps, Hard block Street fill, glyptal coating), 6"H-beam rods, TRW blower pistons (dished), 74cc iron heads (don't have $$$ for alu yet :( ) mallory ignition, fluidyne oil cooler, 2 accusumps (one for starup , one for shutdown), Fluidyne nascar radiator (31x16x4,5") Moon style crossram w/ 4 dellorto DHLA 45 tri jet (Lotus Esprit Turbo) carbs, AMW custom BOV, 2 Callaway experimental intercoolers w/ carbon tanks. Milodon Alu full cover gear drive. Steel plugged deck
Not sure about the crank yet. I want a crower but am missing $$$! :D
I want a mech. roller cam & lifters too. Haven't decided wich one yet.

That is one nice set up you have there. Can't beat a twin turbo small block. It is going to be awesome when it is done.
Where did you get the exhaust manifolds for the turbos? I have been looking around for a company that sells a kit of some sort but haven't been successful.

Re: Got the filters for my TT today.... (Twinnie)
How much did all of that cost you? and whats the info on the turbos and intake etc... i was going to supercharge my car but i found out that the ATIs dont fit under the hood very well, and if a turbo or 2 will, and not cost too much id like to do that.

There are twin turbo headers for sale on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...tem=1808087233
The turbos are rotomaster T04B's, I'll have to check the housings for the specs though
The manifold is a moon crossram clone (this one has bigger ports) with 4 dellorto carbs. The manifold and carbs will set you back about 5k at inglese but then you'll have webers and not these dellortos wich are designed for turbocharging. They cam off a lotus esprit turbo and can handle 45psi of boost. Then there's the manifolds or headers...about 500bucks for manifolds from gale banks...about double that amount for headers.
Intercoolers should be around 500 a pop for decent ones. I got mine (well I don't have em yet but I did pay them already ;) eh David)
These are the ones I'll be running:
Then there's the filters at 140 bucks for both
Then you need downpipes, oil plumbing, modified oil pan (drainback), intercooler plumbing, big butt radiator :
You also need a BOV if you have a manual gearbox, I got this one from AMWorks in Finland
You'll also need to redo the engine to handle the stress....and the trans...diff...well the complete car actually
I probably forgot a whole host of stuff, it looks like a reasonably cheap power adder but it'll set you back way more than you think

Thats insane. i thought it would be roughly 5K for total install, not just for intake. i already have a strong bottom end, wouldnt forged pistons crank and rods be enough to handle, say, 24psi? and couldnt i just get one big turbo to do 24psi or would it be better to do twin-12psi for turbo lag reasons... im saying 24psi is because i have a friend who got his 91 or 92 talon into 11s with 24psi, and i figgure 24psi will create an butt-load more power on my 350 than on a little 4 banger, and i would defineatly want a boost controller. that would be easy to fabricate into my non-fuctional clock in the gauge cluster... hmmm
I thought the manifold would be a hell of alot more expensive than that.
is there a reason that i couldnt run a 900cfm or 1000cfm carb on a specific intake? and i already plan on redoing the driveline. my tranny couldnt support power like that, and i would probably blow my diff in to many many pieces. :yesnod:
Thans for all your help Twinnie, the is really helping me decide what i want to do.
