Contemporary Corvette in PA
Anybody done business with Contemporary Corvette in Bristol, PA?
I want to add the optional Aluminum Wheels to my 82 . . . the prices at most of the vette suppliers seem premium ($1000=Caps+Lugs). Contemporary advertises themselves as the "largest Corvette Salvage Yard". Obviously used, the prices are good ($125+up each)--probably just a matter of picking the best wheels. What do you guys think?
Thanks!

I assume these are the same wheels seen on the late 70s? If so I found a set in nice shape for $250. Maybe that wasn't the norm though. I have bought T-Tops and various other parts from contemporary. They are definitly high volume high speed guys. Painted my tops and shipped em before they were dry, bubble wrap stuck to em. That was a while ago 2-3 years. :flag

just got a gas tank and sending unit from them yesterday for $230 delivered. Everyone else wanted about $350 for just the parts. They sent the part out ups and they were great condition.

Great guys. Ask for Rocky he helped me a lot. You can also check out this place in PA too. They take older rims and restore them to factory OEM specs. prices are realy good too. http://www.wheelcollision.com

Conteporary Corvette is awesome. They have pretty much anything you'll need and the prices are usually very fair. I've been there 4 times in the last month!!! Tell Rocky and Ron I said yo!!!!

They sell new as well as recycled parts. There prices are more than fair and if you go to the yard they let you walk around picking out what you want. This is unusual at best. We have had several NCRS club field trips to there facility and had a great time. Never had a problem with them misrepresenting anything.
