What is the factory correct finish for the underside of the hood, should it be body color or a flat black?

All of them that I've seen are flat black. I repainted mine flat black before I painted the car.

The painter phoned me today & said that he can do my hood as some other job got cancelled, so I needed to know b4 6.00pm GMT. Nice one. He'll be getting my hood shortly. Hope he does a good job..... :(
The rear end is still partially in bits, the front end is totally in bits, the headlights are just a pile of parts in my bedroom & yesterday my cam arrived, so tonight the engine starts coming apart :) Now, I wonder what else I can take apart!

Just on a side note, i painted mine semi-gloss black to match the rockers and "gills".
just an opinion.
