Need Help converting Word Perfect Document to MS-Word
I just had my vette appraised and the appraiser sent me the documents in word perfect 7, Wondering if any-one has both programs on their PC to convert my documents from word perfect to MS-Word.

He can save it as a Word document in Word Perfect and resend it.
That or I can - just email it as an attachment.

word will also open it, then when you save it you'll be asked if you want to save it as a word file.

Word that comes with Office 2000 only goes up to Word Perfect 6.* (I don't know about Office 97,98 or Office XP) as far as directly reading the files. If you can't open the document, contact the guy and see if he can resend them as Microsoft Word DOC format or in the older WP 6.0 format.

Re: Need Help converting Word Perfect Document to MS-Word (73-454)
I've used Wordperfect in all it's various release for over ten years.
Wanted to be able to send and receive MS Word documents so I loaded up Microsoft Office 2000 (the professional version) on my computer.
I now call Office 2000 a computer VIRUS and have removed it. It consumed inordinate amounts of memory, changed all my browser properties, forced Outlook Express on me and refused to run properly with any of my existing WordPerfect (Corel) software(system hangs), to name just a few of the problems.
See if you can get the report fax'd to you. That will be the fastest easiest way, or try HTML

I believe he can save the documents in .rtf format, then re-send them to you.
Almost any word processing software can read and write in it. Very handy when sending stuff to people on different platforms.

Wouls love to see a pic of the rest of your car given that your engine bay looks immaculate.
