Just had L-88 hood painted, will it fade at all
Had the hood painted, it is a little darker than the body, not a lot, but a little. Will it fade at all to hopefully match the body better.
Any tips on how to care for new paint. :chevy

uh.. seeing how I'm up late on a thursday nite, I'll bite.. yes it will fade in time. when i repainted the nose of my 69, it was a lot brighter then the rest of the car. so after about a week I washed it, dried it and waxed the back of the car with mequires.. came out perfect.. just something to keep in mind.
oh and do NOT put any wax on it for about 3 months

a few months ago I had my new L-88 hood painted- it turned out darker than my color also. wish the rest of my car looked as good as the hood :p: :lol: :yesnod: :smash: :mad :rolleyes: :cry :chevy :boxing :seeya
