Default fuel regulator setting

I have a 454 with an 850dp demon and am relocating and replumbing my fuel line, flow gauge, electric pump and regulator. For those of you who have regulators, what fuel pressure/rate should I set the regulator for? It's registering at about 4 psig on the gauge right now. What do you guys run?

According to teh Demon manual, although they say race engines require around 6-7.5psi, they don't specify exactly what's needed for a street application. I'd say around 6psi +/- 1 and your're rockin.

I'm using a Holley electric pump with a fixed pressure of around 6psi.

Mine is reading 4 also with a predator carb. I know that doesn't help you but I haven't posted in awhile and thought I needed to add something.... :troll
Once I get some other issues sorted out, I will be boosting that up to about 7.
