Default Anyone polish the spindle bearing surface?

I am reinstalling the front end and after taking a good close look at my two spindles... they are both in good shape, no divits or scratches on the bearing surfaces, but they look like they need to be polished (at least one does)

Should I do this, or am I looking for trouble?

Any recommendations?

Thanks

The spindle bearing surface only holds the bearing's inner roller guide. If the bearing assembly turns on the spindle, you've got a serious problem. It's just a machined surface and should not be touched.

Just clean it up with a scotch brite pad and use a little grease when putting back together.  :seeya .........
