Default Anyone purchase GM High Performance Heads or the Edelbrock IAS shocks??

I was hoping that you could shed some light on the GM High Performance heads for me, especially the 350 FastBurn Aluminum heads. Are they reliable, well built etc. How do the IAS shocks compare to the Bilstein and Koni's. Mine are in need of replacement so I need to get these done before the good weather is here.

I can tell you that fast burn heads add ~40HP to a stock zz4 to bring it to 395, and with the hotcam still adds ~35 to make 430HP....thats based on the zz4 crate motors sold around on the net....
keep in mind, i think, the fastburn heads are 23degrees and you will need a manifold to match that, and i think ive heard of some having problemss with header b/c of the D - shaped exhaust ports.

Seem like a quality piece though

What cam are you using? I will be adding a Performer intake and Hedman headers as well as the sidepipes that I just purchased from a fellow forum member (69 style ss).

I have the gm HOTCAM kit
here are the specs from paceparts.com :
The duration at lash point in degrees (intake/exhaust) is 279/287; duration at .050" tappet lift (intake/exhaust) is 218/228; and maximum lift with 1.6 rocker ratio (intake/exhaust) is 525/525. Valve lash is zero/zero and lobe centerline is 112 degrees.
Great cam IMO! A nice sounding lope that makes the car shake at idle, but definiteely still streetable!
