Is this Forum just as slow as before the upgrade?
I was wondering if any of you have noticed a improvement, I mean for all the effort it still seems to be the same as before?

Seems better, but at around 4:30 this afternoon it wasn't working at all for me, AGAIN.

Yes, even using the profile option for "no pics" does not improve load times. Other web sites are fine so I know it's not my provider....

IT seems to be much faster for me today than yesterday. :) I think they were still tweaking the system yesterday. The home page editing is a whole 'nother ball of wax though. :(

It seems better, and I am the "second worst case" - Netscape 4.x, LAN and corporate firewall. I can now see most pages without refreshing, and it allows me to reply, too. Still very slow, though, compared to other sites. I will have to try from home, with my slow dialup. Joe

Your problem is probably Novell, Netscape and Firewall related. I'm in a similar environment except we are on NT, MSIE6.0 and a corporate firewall, and the speeds are great. At least as fast as my broadband at home.

I've found that this site works a lot faster with Internet Explorer than with Netscape for some reason. Netscape is incredibly slow for me, both at work and at home.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has noticed how slow this forum is. The ads and the banners sure pop up quick enough but that's not what I come here for.
