Default Looking for "Lightening Rods" by Hurst

I'm looking for a Hurst automatic shifter that is called lightening rods. They are for an automatic, but resemble the multi sticks like on a lenco trans.
They are no longer manufactured. Has anyone seen any for sale?

I know what you are talking about, but haven't seen any for sale in a long time.

Ditto. I remember them (pretty cool) but haven't seen 'em for a long time.

Here's some info:

[QUOTE] http://www.smoothprimo.s5.com/custom4.html

there was one of these lurking in my hometown for the past 6 years...havent seen it in a year or so though.......but at times it was parked for a while...like the kid was off to college or army....every summer he would tool around in it again...rev it when ever he could  .....i like em though...nice produciton line car.
Used to race him all time to shut him up.... :D I had a '81 regal with a '76 olds stuffed into it...bored and built with crane parts, 2500 stall and auburn posi and richmond 3.73 rear.....left him behind everytime....laughing all the way...

But the car just asks for attention.....they are very nice to look at too !
I only wish they built them with the 400 or at least a 350....307 just wasnt enough..... :smash: I mean...wasnt this like remembering the old 442 days ???? 400 4 barrel 2 exhaust.....i dont see 307 in the letters of 442???
