My Vette Lives
After sitting in a good friends driveway for a month waiting on me to rebuild the engine I finally drove her home tonight. After some issues with getting it started it runs awesome. I am going to hunt down who ever screwed up my wiring and remove their liver with a spoon. :mad It is just an ugly mess. The car sounds so good running open hooker sidepipes :D . I dont think the neighbors probly were too happy when i was breaking in the cam but no one complained . This is the first engine I have ever built and so far it runs great. The distributor that Lars rebuilt functions flawlessly and my timing curve is perfect. Now I just need to tune the carb and break it in i cant wait to get on it and see what she will do. A weiland stealth manifold apparently will fit under a stock SB hood with a drop base air cleaner and a 3" K&N. Sorry that this post is kind of just a bunch of random thoughts but im just so pumped up right now and wanted to share.

Congratulations,
I just put my first 500 miles on my newly rebuilt L36.
Went to the back of a vacant office park and laid about 20 yards of rubber!
Felt like I was 16 all over again.
