Default Radio's - - - Where do you have one rebuilt ?

Anybody know of someone who rebuilds original GM radios? I have an original GM AM/FM Cass radios for my 1979 Corvette and I'd like to have it rebuild. I was wondering if anyone else has had their radios rebuild, or have most everyone just replaced theirs with later styles?

I just sent my AM/FM/CB to a place called D & B Auto Radio in Milwaukee WI. They are a Delco repair center. They told me that some parts are available dedending on what is wrong with it.

You can contact Model Electronics at 1-877-604-9659. They are the authorized GM/ACDelco repair center. Their main offiice is in NY, but this number is is for their Horsham, Pa office. They're right next to the Wilow Grove Naval Air Station. There's also H&R Radio in Hatboro, but they are no longer the autherized GM repair center. I see you're in Essington, is this near the airport? That wouldn't be to far to go.

Yep, I'm right at the end of the runway, in more ways than I'd like to think about. I forgot about H&R radio. I think I may need a faceplate as well and i assume that is a BIG problem?
