Default " Raised Port Heads and Sidepipes........."

Has anybody had any experience with using Dart raised port heads,(BB) and Hooker sidepipe headers? Does this throw off the clearence for the primarys and collectors? These set ups are touchy anyway, let alone different heights on the heads. Thanks in advance. JCL   :chevy " Sidepipes are the way'

Not Dart specifically but I used the headman side headers with my AFR heads that have raised ports, it's only 1/2" or so isn't it??

I looked at a 66 with Hooker Side pipes for Flareside a while back. The .250 rise =good for the go.It was 4spd as well.Automatic car even better on driver side

A tip for you guys running Hooker Side pipes.Look into Bassett boat header "spiral" collector inserts.Sounds sweet! Also the dirt track cars use inserts in various diameters/lenghts.Some are in the Jegs catalog. They are cheap to play with.

The Dart Pro-1 heads are only raised .3" instead of the more common .6" (Brodix, Canfield, etc.), so I would think you'll be able to shoehorn them in with a little persuasion ;)
