Vacuum Kits = Nuts....
I was looking for a vacuum hose kit for my car and went to a few differant online parts places... Could not find one that included every hose on my car... but I could find three differant kits that came to $176.00...... Are they nuts...... Why would I buy these kits when I can buy Vacuum hose at less than a buck a foot..... Oh yea the kit is pre cut.... Oooohhhhhh like I cant measure the existing hose and cut it myself.... No they do it for me at a very reasonable cost of $150.00.....
Sorry just had to rant and rave......

I'm hearing you bro.
It's kind of like wire harnesses. With a couple spools of wire and a box of connectors you could rebuild a harness for about $40. If you buy one, look out for $500-800. Yeesh. I wouldn't buy one unless I had completely destroyed my original (and therefore had no template to reproduce from).
Oh well. In all fairness I think some vacuum hose kits have printed or color coded hoses which would be difficult to do at home. Still, not $150 difficult.
