Front Suspension Rebuild Kit. (Cheapest Price)
I want to order a new bushing kit for the front end. Who has the best price on a basic kit?

I'd have to say Vette Brakes & Products rubber front kit is a bargain and high quality. I think it is under $200. Comes with heavy duty ball-joints, complete new tie-rods (and adjustable using jam nuts), control arm bushings, etc. Complete and easy to install.

I've researched some prices some time ago, and the best deal I found was offered by Zip, through the forum resto store ($136):

Hope this helps...

I appreciate the need to keep in budget, but given the amount of labor involved, are you SURE you don't want to go with Poly bushings?

Re: Front Suspension Rebuild Kit. (Noel Carboni)
Thanks guy's. $136.00 through Zip is great deal.
Noel, The stock set lasted 24 years, so I'm guessing a replacement set will do the same. And, Yes I am on a budget. I've got to install my 700R4 and need the cash to buy all the misc. parts. Also, I will be cutting or replacing the front springs.

The ZIP price is unbeatable! And 5% less for being a Forum member. I thought along the same lines as you when I bought the rubber kit: the bushings lasted 22 years. They must be more than adequate.

I think Noel Carboni is right! For the labor involved I would use the Polygraphite which will last longer and won't deteriorate from oil or power steering fluids. You never know when you'll have a pin-hole in the power steering line and you'll have to replace the bushings also. The poly also has less deflection which will keep the alignment in spec better during hard driving and it also frees up the static load on the suspension (the rubber has more friction). Usually you get what you pay for. Just my 2 cents. :jester
