WooHoo - Don't have to sell her after all.
Okay, I realize this should be in off-topic - however you guys/gals are a better group over here.
After 5-1/2 months of unemployment, I had until the end of this week to find a job before the Vette had to hit the market. Luckily, I received an offer yesterday which I accepted today – So I get to keep her after all.
:D :D In addition, I did not have to take the pay cut I was expecting, so I get to continue to buy new parts. :D
I know a lot of other people in the forum are in the same boat. I just wanted to share my story - just when everything was ready to get very tough - the good lord was looking out for me.

That's awesome! More so that you got the job. But you still get to keep your Vette and do the mods. It's good to see people getting good jobs still.

Congratulations on the job offer and being able to keep the Corvette. It's nice to hear good news in these crazy times. Enjoy,

Its sorta weird...everyone that I know that has lost their job in the recent economic downturn has ended up getting a new job shortly after that and are all now getting paid more than before...
I'm beginning to question how much of a downturn there really has been...
Anyway congratulations! :seeya

Thanks All!
Now back to Corvettes - since I get to order new parts.
I ordered a SPAL cooling fan yesterday, I'm going to go with a single 16" initially. I've got to get the front end back on. I've got to order a new PS Cylinder, mine has a groove on the shaft that was discovered during the rebuild process. Next will be RollerRockers, exhaust, rear suspension.
Slowly but surely she will become a work of art!
