I have available to me a set of power rear view mirrors for my 82, rather then taking my door or center console apart to find out, does anyone know if the car is already pre wirered for the mirrors, i am hoping for a plug in installation rather then having to wire it. thank you.

1st, if you don't have power locks, see if you have electric provided to the door via a wiring harness from the dash area into the door up by the hinges. If you have power locks, then the wiring is probably there but you need to check the assembly manual (AIM) & take a look in there to see how the wiring harness is configured. For ease of assembly, I bet the harness into the door was configured to feed both the power locks and power mirrors.
