are all AIM's created equal?
i just recently received my AIM from corvette central
and i don't really see anything that's useful...is it just me?
i thought the AIM would have more precise drawings...
e.g., step by step drawings of the dashboard, assembly procedures
for speedo and tach units, how the brakes are put together, etc....
so is it just my AIM...or are all AIM's pretty much just a general overview
of how the car is?
the AIM is for the '69

No, they are all copied from the same sheets. Maybe packaged a little different.
So you don't see see anything useful - WOW! I think it's the best money I ever spent on a car manual.....
BTW: The assembly line guys/gals did have precise step-by-step instructions that were made from the drawings and probably modifed on the line itself until they worked smoothly. Probably would not do any of us much good in our garages.
