Hood adjustment (near wiper door, ) 68-72's
Just got an L88 hood. Cant seem to get the passenger side portion, closet to the wiper door, adjusted down low enough. I have adjusted the male side of the hood latch as low as it will go. Still sits about a 1/4 inch too high. Any ideas?

I take it that you also dropped down the little hood hieght adjuster bolt that has the round rubber piece on top of it also.

Hey John; welcome back!
I had this problem when I first bought mine with the hood already installed. I had to remove the lock nuts from the bumper bolts and ran them all the way down to make mine flush with the wiper door grill and fenders. Hopefully you haven't done this already or I don't know what to tell you. :flag

I hadnt thought about removing the lock nut on the hood bumper bolt. That would give about a 1/4 inch more, if in fact thats what is keeping the hood up.
