TH-400- does the yoke supposed to have up and down play?
I'm trying to track a vibration problem and noticed when I grab the driveshaft
and shake it, move it up and down it has a little play in the transmission. The rearend yoke does'nt. I tried to shake the driveshaft on my truck and it has no play. Is this play normal on a th-400 and if not whats wrong? Do I need a new yoke or possibly some type of output bearing on the tranny?
