I have now completely cleaned and have done some detailing and touch up on the underside of my car. It may not look quite as good as it did when it left the factory but it is looking pretty nice. Here are some final pics of the back end. :cheers:

Well, I was all set to tell you that all of this detailing/improvment has developed into a serious sickness, but then I saw the dirt left in between the tire treads :nono: really, you're just not trying hard enough ;)

You've been peeking through my garage window again haven't you?? I just finished my spare tire tub last night and will install Fri. Looks just like yours....although "I" cleaned between the tire treads! :lol: :lol: Did you use POR-15 on the metal straps and hanging hardware? I was going to clean between the tire treads but I decided I wanted to keep some California dust on the car somewhere. :D It is also the new original spare so I never even cleaned up the factory film off the raised white letters. There was also some factory undercoating overspray on the tub that I did not put back on as well so we know that the tire tub did not look that clean when it left the factory. I used Tremclad black enamel on the straps.
