Default Updating Garage

I started this last weekend updating my garage. Mostly visual. I slatwalled the whole side of the garage to hang old and new vette props on. Cams, Chrome valve covers, 1/18 scale model, you name. I bought these last night to hang on the ceiling. http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI...tem=1071049308
I think I may by a Bud dragster neon sign also. It's also starting to look like Crank and Chrome.

Other improvements include Direct TV and insulated garage door. I'll post pics soon.

Sounds like fun. I would love to have DirecTV in the garage. Love it in the house. I am a little curious what you need an insulated floor in TX for?

I insulated the garage door for days like today. It's been a white out since 7:00am. Burrrrrrrrrrrrr Also just split off of you extra receive and route it to the garage. I bought the bracket that hangs the TV from the ceiling, so it's out of the way.

I have a TV in the garage, just no satellite. Still doing it the old fashioned way with an antenna. Also have radio, refrig, heat. All of the necessities. :D

Yeah, I've been working on custom cabinet drawings this morning and trying to finalize my layout so I can get them fabricated and installed. They're going to be custom in layout and style but still white paint grade to keep the cost reasonable. All of the drawers and doors will have a red laminate recessed reveal pull area to compliment the black and white checkered vinyl tile that's going to cover the floor. I've found some 12" vinyl tiles that are solid color throughout so they'll work in the garage. :D

Let's see, sink, phone, TV and satellite are already out there, but I still need a place for a computer, fridge . . .

Oh, and I'm in TX as well and the whole garage is insulated including the doors. AC will be installed eventually.

We have a urinal in our shop. The door's always open. You just go out the big door, hang a left, and there it is.

Or you go out the small door, and there it is at a slight right.

Actually if no one is around you can go straight out either and it's right there!

Yeah, I'm going to update mine this spring! All the crap that can go up in the attic is going there, all the crap that is crap is going going gone. Then all the wife's garden stuff is going to be organized neatly (at least once). Then maybe there will be some room in there.....

I have a 35" TV in the garage with cable , also a 32" TV. Nintendo, PS2, poker table, pinball machine and a computer. The best thing I have is AC . An 18000 BTU AC cools the 800 sqft really well. I have R-30 insulation above the ceiling.
