Body Removed! (pics)
Took off the body this weekend. Some pics on my homepage at
http://kksjjohnson.home.mindspring.c...%20Rebuild.htm
Beware bandwidth. The page is a chronological pic display since last Sept. Some of the pics are a little fuzzy as a result of resizing. Trying to save some download time.
I'm stoked about making progress. Note: I wouldn't try this method for lifting if you haven't emptied everything from the body. I was gonna wait to get a proper sling rigged, but my son and I along with 2 of his friends could lift it by hand. I figured it was light enough, and we were impatient enough, so what the hell. Didn't drop it and nothing cracked.

Re: Body Removed! (keith72)
I´m one week ahead of you!
Lifted the body the weekend before and took out the engine and tranny this weekend.
I left everything inside the body and on the body intact - OK, I had a lift to perform the job which made it much easier for me.
Keep on the good work - I´m still better in wrenchturning than in html-writing!
So I haven´t posted it to the homepage.....
