B&M TrickShift Fluid?
I'm going to be installing my B&M "Shift Improver" kit in the street/strip mode, and they recommend this fluid. Does anyone by chance know any
advantages/disadvantages to this fluid or other synthetic tranny fluids?
Just want to have all my angles covered before something goes out.
Thanks :chevy

Re: B&M TrickShift Fluid? (VETDRMS)
Ford fluid has higher boiling point and more friction additives. Which makes for better shifts. It makes enough of a difference that I could tell something was amiss when a shop threw in Dextron once.
Trick shift probably has the same formula as Ford ATF

OK, what are the opinions out there. I'm getting ready to do a filter and fluid change (except the converter of course).
Ford ATF, a name brand synthetic, Dexron II, or what.
I too have heard that the "new" fluid is not a great as the newer stuff.
