Default Any thoughts on repro door handles?

Any one ever used the repro units from Eckler's? Any problems with chrome flaking or the mechanism? A pair of repros are $80 cheaper than the OEM units and I figured since I need to adjust the windows and fix the locks, might as well while I'm in there...
Thanks
Tom

I have a set on mine. Fit and finish were pretty good. I have only had them on for a year and a half so I don't know about longevity. I think they were worth the savings.

I bought the repro's from ZIP. Fit and function are fine but I havent had them on long enough to comment on the finish.

Get the real thing. My repros didn't fit well at all, and required major modification to fit well. Then they didn't actuate the lock without binding and grabbing, Pay the money and do it right the first time.

I would pay the price for the good ones. I think there are a couple of repeo's out there. The one's I bought wore out at the linkage hole very quickly. The Chrome looked OK but the fit was not real bad, but could have been better.
