I am swapping the stock pan with the GM 4 qt pan because the stock one is all banged up and is too big for the vette. Is there anything else I should do while I am in there. The pan came with some rod bolts and a few other parts. Why do the instruction have me removing rod bolts?? It also says to insure that the oil pickup is pointing the correct way. What is the correct way?
