I need to have my L-82 rebuilt. Im looking for a reputable builder, with whom someone has had first hand experience.

Tidewater corvettes in newport news va was recommended by corvette fever as a rep mech source.I have talked to these guys they are very knowledeable .I have not personaly dealt with them but they have a large number of vettes on their lot . 757 595-1967 ask for Bob Dick.I know for a fact they do custom engines.Just for comparison you might want to price a crate motor and put the old L82 in storage.

Thanks. I'm in southern maryland, but my folks live in Va Beach, so they sound like a good option. A crate isn't in the budget. I'm looking to just get the short block done, and do the rest myself
