opinions requested: red line synthetic or royal purple or others?
car is going in the garage in the next week or two for annual maintenance and i'm going with 'synthetic' in the trans and diff. both have been rebuilt in the last couple of years so they are relatively fresh. thinking of using red line MTL in the t-10 and 75w/90 in the diff. also heard good things about royal purple but i was on their site and found out it's not actually a synthetic base stock. i just don't know if i want to pay synthetic prices for a mineral oil product. BTW, this car sees MUCH autocross and track time but only about 3000 miles a year street duty. opinions?

Redline :yesnod: Mineral base means a lot of additives you can't go wrong with a synthetic base oil.

I like Red-Line. Use it in my diff., have used it in trans, diff., motor on other rigs in the past and very happy.

I've heard good things about this companies products. I don't have any experience with them though.
I am also considering a change to all synthetic fluids for my Vette.

I have used redline and it is a great oil. MY wife had a little Chevy Sprint at one time and it had the 3 cylinder intercooled turbo motor and even after 125K off abuse the motor still looked like new inside.
My SCCA production race car buddies will only use redline
