According to the latest issue of " National Dragster " from NHRA, the Federal government is at it again. There is legislation out now which is number " S. 1766 " which allows for " scrap " credits for the destruction of cars 15 years old and older, that means 1987 is the "start" year guys !!! You may think you don' t have a car that is 15 years old, but if this gets past, then what is next ? This legislation has been attempted for years, but this time if people are too complacent, it can get thru. DON' T LET THAT HAPPEN !!! you will be sorry later, and it will be too late for action then. :mad :mad

Make sure you get the "correct" link. It must have the " .com/san " at the end, otherwise it goes to an incorrect site !!

The same article is in Hot rod mag this month. I don't think too many Vettes will be scrapped, but this may make it hard for me to buy a 70 Monte Carlo some day.

Take note that the years start at 15. That means with 2002 cars out, the 1987 cars are subject. This is a little too close don' t you think ??
