700R4 pressure
I pressure tested my "new" 700r4 today after installation. (It's from a 87 Caprice, aux. valve-body type).
Unfortunately my pressure was far to low, in park 140psi at 1000rpm and full TV. TV off was 57psi.
When I inspected the TV mechanism before installation I noticed that the plunger had to be pushed ca 0.35" before touching the spring.
So after the pressure test I took the spring out to check if it was damaged. Looks ok, the length is 2.13" and it seems to be of red color.
Any help appreciated.

Why don't you e-mail them your question. They setup mine with a pressure guage and it really slams the gears.
