Problems with WilWood Brakes?
Anyone had any bad experiences with wilwood brakes? My brother is planning on converting the front brakes on his 67' camaro to wilwoods drag kit, but someone on the camaro forum said his brakes blew up on him on the road. It seems very unlikely but are we for or against these brakes? Comments are welcome

Some people on VetteNet used them, NASCAR use them, circle track racers use them, IRL uses them...
Remember their drag setup uses very thin SOLID rotors, not a good street system!
And can you define 'Blew up'?

Re: Problems with WilWood Brakes? (427V8)
i was told that they cracked into peices and literally just came apart on him, they were probably the "drag race" only like you were talking about, i dont like getting biased info from people who bought the wrong stuff, but it still worries me, so i want to see what others think of there stuff.

As it said above; drag race kit WONT work on street. If your bro plans to drive it ,forget it!
