C4 Tech Judging Seminar, Feb 17th @ Tony's Corvette, Gaithersburg MD.
I know this is the C3 section - but I thought that some of you might be interested in attending too. Knowing Tony and having attended some of his tech classes before I'm sure it'll be like drinking from a firehose!
NCRS C4 Tech Judging Session
Sunday February 17th 10am - ???
Tony's Corvette Shop http://www.tonyscorvetteshop.com/
7500 Rickenbacker Drive
Gaithersburg, Maryland ·
(301)987-0565
RSVP to Tony (301)987-0565 or Juliet@annapolis.net
Tony will be bringing in several low mileage early C4s and have them on his lifts (as required) for inspection. We're going to do a comparison of the various model years. Tony will also show us some of the more subtle originality details, how to tell various repro parts from the real McCoy. We'll also work towards learning enough that we can accurately ID original from replaced parts and properly fill out the survey forms for the early C4s.
I should have those survey forms in PDF form on the Mason Dixon NCRS Chapter website later tonight. http://www.ncrs.org/masondixon/ You may fill them out and send them directly to Vito (address on the form), or you may bring them to the judging seminar and I'll collect and mail them to him enmass.
If you're not yet an NCRS member, you can join through http://www.ncrs.org. It costs $30 a year.
