Side Exhaust Covers On - What do you think?
Hi!
Finally was able to get my covers mounted. No pipes yet just the covers.
Sure wish they were chrome - what do you think of the color? There's massive amounts of metallic in the paint so it should be better in the sun.
Oh ya - rear end rebuild is done too.

Larry,
They look great. You will be glad they are not chrome when you are not burning yourself this summer.
Nice work.

Thanks Guys!
I wasn't sure they looked right but I guess they do.
The sun came out for a couple minutes and I REALLY like it in the sun.
Now I have to decide what pipes to go with under there. It sounds cool right now with open headers but others may frown on that.
David - You're right, no burns is good. Thanks for the good deal on them.
Johnny - I'm not sure what that stuff is but if you want it it's yours. It may not keep well in Alabama though.
Pete79L82 - I bought them from dcornelius (forum member) and I think they were Ecklers units.
Tom - Yep - they are the fiberglass ones. Painted with Black PPG DBU, Non-Smudge Aluminum (Hi metallic) PPG DBU, and cleared with PPG Delta Clear.

They were Ecklers units. I thought they were very well made. I was impressed. I would have used them on my car but I went with Hooker sidepipes.
