Default Too much moisture?

I don't think my choke is working right, because in the morning it's been pretty damp because of the rain and lately it's been unusually cold too. I've had problems driving because the rpms go from 800 to regular 675 to 0. I have trouble keeping the car moving cause it just doesn't want to idle first thing in the morning, even in Neutral. But when it's drier, my car runs ok. So could the cold weather be causing condensation(sp?) in the engine or causing choke to not work right? Or is part of the carb just bad? Seems to happen only when it just rained or i forget to cover the car.

Could be carb/choke related.

I had a car that would stall in wet weather; turned out to be a crack in the distributor cap.

Good Luck!

following jerryp58 s train of thought ignition wires that are cracked are a problem in wet weather also

Thanks guys, I'll be sure to check all those things. Although today it was only a little cold and much much drier and it seemed to run better. So maybe I should just drive when it's nice and sunny and warm :yesnod:
