Howdy folks. I don't usually hang out in C3, but i was curious if anyone here has the California only 305ci Vette from 1980? If so, how does it compare with the 350ci version that was available to the rest of the country?

If I recall correctly, the 305 was about 15 HP shy of the 350 version.

I have one, and my sig says it all....
It is slow...but everyone else on the road thinks,"It's a vette, so I won't try to take a go at him"....the 15 HP less is correct.

They also only came in automatic trans.
The GOOD thing is that they threw a bunch of ergonomics into the design which make driving more fun.

nope...no specific questions. I was just wondering if anyone on the forum had one because I am just typically more interested in Corvette's that have "curiosity" options and equipment like your 305 V8 and the 82/84 CFI's, rather than the zillion TPI cars they made. If I found a nice 1980 305 I would buy it (that is, if I had the $$$ :D )
