Rear Speaker Idea for C3's Coupes & Roadsters, Simple & Cheap
I will email a JPEG to anyone interested in seeing what I have done. All I have seen are these 200-300 plus dollar Made-to-fit enclosures most don't even come with speakers, and if they do, you can bet they are sub-par. I knew I could do something better for less. You can buy the speaker enclosures pre-made for 20 - 30 bucks for the pair. The only hard part is the compound angle cuts on the ends (for that custom fit look) of the cross bar. I made a pattern using a piece of 3/4" syrofoam and a razor knife. The Alpine amp and fire extinguisher are optional. :D

I'd love to take a look at what you've got. I'm going to be doing this too in the next 6 months. Haven't seen your setup yet, but I was thinking something along the lines of removeable - just for those guys like me that have to use our C3s as daily drivers. Sometimes you just gotta have one more inch... If I come up with any plans I'll be sure to share them with the forum.
