Holley carb ID?
A guy my wife works with gave her an old Holley carburetor, but we don't have any idea what size it is. It has vacuum secondaries and a heat activated choke. The only number on it that seems to mean anything is this:
LIST-3310-1
2893
It appears to have been used very little and came with original warranty and installation information. New Holleys don't seem that expensive and I'm wondering if this one is worth rebuilding and keeping. Thanks in advance.

Re: Holley carb ID? (The_Dude)
3310-1 is a 780 CFM carb. great carb came on a lot of high performance chevy engines although they may have used a different LIST number. the later ones are rated at 750 CFM even though they are the same carb. :chevy

Re: Holley carb ID? (clem zahrobsky)
Thanks for the info. I did a search and it sounds like this is a fairly common carburetor. Would this be too big for my slightly warmed up 350 in my '80? Can I switch the choke to electric? My wife has a '65 Tbird with a 410 merc that we're going to bolt it on to and see how it runs. My guess is that it hasn't seen gas in 20 years.
