Rear exhaust filler pannel installation?
Hey guys, I bought a new exhast filer panel from MAD to replace the busted one that was already on the car. This is still the piece that you use with rear exhaust. My old one bolted in however the new one does not fit all that great. Are you supposed to bond these things back in with fiberglass or should it just bolt in? Has anyone dealt with this piece?
Thanks for the help.

I've removed mine and reinstalled it before; it wasn't glassed in since the factory interchanged them when sidepipes were ordered. It should line up unless there has been bodywork to your rear tail light panel or qtr panels that it bolts up to. If I were you, I'd check those panels on your car for alteration and if ok, return it to MAD for another unless you've already painted it.

Mine is bolted in on my 1969 model, I'm not sure about other years since 69 was the only year you could order sidepipes from the factory.
