Here's the first custom job I ever did . . .
Keep in mind I was in college, didn't have any REAL tools or money and I worked out in a gravel driveway. I built molds out of cardboard to fabricate ne fiberglass parts, a new nose, skirts, flares, back side windows, whale tail and rear bumper. I blended everything in, I love the shaved cars from the 50's/60's. It took two long summers to complete the outside.
Now, time, money, tools a garage and help (thanks in large part to the forum) are all available.

Neat. Like a cross between a 5-oh and a Camaro. Was that what you were going for?

Actually, I just love fat tires, flares and seamless styling. Dad had bought me a used 1980 6 banger mustang for college and I went wild with it in the later years as you can see. I also picked up a nice 302 w/ BW and swapped the engine and tranny. This is the faster car I ever owned and If I'd ever gotten around to replacing and stiffning the suspension, she'd been a lot faster. I learned how to sandblast, do bodywork, lay fiberglass and make my own parts on this car.
Now, I can't wait to apply some of these ideas to my Vette! I'm working on a model of my plans right now and I'll be posting pics of the model when it's done.
