Help reunite POP for 71 BB convertible to the car....
Picked up a 71 Corvette owners manual recently and discovered that the warranty card and protecto plate were included. Here is the info:
194671S117713
T0513CPJ 71S489
AWW132E R 113 13
I was able to decode everything except the 113 13 which I believe were the different options on the car? Anyway, I came up with:
71 Corvette Convertible with 365hp/454ci engine and M40 trans.
3.08 Posi
The car was sold from Pellini Chevrolet in Sebastopol, California on 6/2/71.
The original owner was located in Santa Rosa, CA. If anyone knows the ware-a-bouts of this car let me know so I can arrange to get this documentation back to the car.

Thanks for posting this. I've added the info to the registry so hopefully an owner will find it. We are #2 at Google now for the term "1971 Corvette" so even those that aren't at the forum can find the registry.

Gonzo, Very nice move! If you find the present owner you will likely make someone very happy! Beware of somebody wanting it merely to build a car around it (well, it could happen!). Of course, car could have been scrapped years ago also... MJ

Close but no cigar. The original owners manual and POP are the only thing that I am missing for my car. I wonder if the judges will notice some white out.
