Are SS braided hoses safe for fuel lines?
I currently have a steel fuel line. I have to make a new one because the carb I purchased has the inlet on the opposite side. I really like the look of the braided hoses. Are they safe to use for fuel lines?

Yes , no problem. Just make sure you get the good ones, not the cheap ones that are just cheap rubber hose covered with chrome stuff.

Summit has a nice ready made braided fuel line from the pump to the carb. It has all the right end fittings...is safe..and looks good. :)

I bought the fuel pump to carb kit from Summit. Use the AN fittings, properly installed the hose and fittings are almost impossible to pull apart.

I also used the Summit complete kit including pump and regulator on my project car. The SS lines and fittings were top notch. The pump bought the farm. Worked for a couple of hours and died. Got a replacement and the replacement wouldn''t pump at all. Bought a Holley and have never had a problem.
Cutting and fitting the ends on SS lines takes a little practice but when done right work great.
