Default Big Race Update.

Well it looks like Shelby Bill has almost finished his brakes and we have set a date of two weeks to run the 1/8th mile. I'm borrowing some 8" slicks to hook up alittle better and I'm considering ordering a set of 1:6 to 1 rollers before the race. I'll keep you updated on the race and try to post some pictures after.

Ahhh yes, the pressure mounts :). I would definetly run those slicks....running down the 1/8 mile doesn't leave much room for error (not that the 1/4 mile does, but there is even less room for error in the 1/8). If I recall correctly, aren't your cars pretty evenly matched? If this is the case I would hone your racing skills before the big day. Good luck! :chevy

No pressure bence, I think I have him scared. He keeps saying "you can't run the juice". I bet you, he is ordering slicks as we type.

It's funny that two grown men can still act like we are 20 again.

Here's the match up:
L-98/ZZ-4 clone with 24 lb injectors, 350 tran, 3:55 rear, 50 shot of Nos, Headers, Duals, est hp around 300 and over 400 in torque.

Shelby Bills set: http://www.geocities.com/kk5ye/index.html

He looks good on paper, but it's still a Rustang and tuning is the key.
